Kieren Emens

I'm a Computer Science MS student at UC Santa Cruz looking to start a career in UX engineering. I specialize in the intersection between design and software, bringing conceptual digital products to life with rapid prototyping and development. In particular, I'm excited to apply user-centered design principles and responsive design to improve accessibility and user experience in the outdoor recreation industry.

I most recently redesigned a website for Reefgen, a robotics company restoring marine ecosystems. I'm currently working on accessibility features for serious games teaching wildfire preparness and education in the Social Emotional Technology lab at UCSC.
